应用体外细胞培养技术，观察了红毛五加多糖对白血病细胞系ＨＬ－６０生长增殖作用的影响。研究结果表明，红毛五加多糖对肿瘤细胞系集落形成细胞具有明显的抑制作用（Ｐ＜０．００１）。其抑制作用与剂量呈显著的负相关（ｒ＝－０．９６４，ｐ＜０．０１），揭示红毛五加多糖确有抗癌作用。
In vitro cell culture technique was used to observe the effect of polysaccharides from Acanthopanax senticosus on the growth and proliferation of leukemia cell line HL-60. The results showed that polysaccharides from Acanthopanax senticosus significantly inhibited the growth of tumor cells colony-forming cells (P <0.001). There was a significant negative correlation between the inhibitory effect and dose (r = -0.964, p <0.01).
