This paper, published in the first issue of 1980 (trial publication), supplements the influence of the shift coefficient and the number of teeth on the gear tooth deformation. The influence of the shift factor on gear tooth deformation is shown in Fig.1. Generally speaking, as the distance coefficient increases, the tooth strength increases and the amount of deformation decreases accordingly. As the distance coefficient increases, the influence of gearing gradually decreases. The degree of influence of the displacement factor on the deformation decreases with the increase of the number of teeth.
