烃源岩的成熟度决定了原油的成熟度与类型。利用R0、C29-20S/20S+20R与C29-ββ/ββ+αα确定了柴西地区烃源岩的成熟度;通过原油C29-20S/20S+20R、C29-ββ/ββ+αα与折算镜质体反射率Rc确定了原油的成熟度。研究表明,柴西地区古、新近系原油系低熟—成熟油为主,早期形成的低熟油运移至茫崖坳陷及周缘的深层构造,受后期构造运动影响部分低熟油运移到浅层构造,晚期形成的成熟油主要聚集于茫崖凹陷周缘深层,因此,原生低熟—成熟油藏的勘探应围绕茫崖凹陷及尕斯断陷深层构造及小梁山凹陷周缘浅层构造。

Due to the late tectonic movement, some low-mature oil migrates To the shallow structure, the mature oil formed in the late stage mainly concentrated in the periphery of the Mangya sag, so the exploration of the native low maturity-mature oil reservoir should focus on the deep structure of the Mangya sag and the Gas faulted depression and the shallow structure of the Xiaoliangshan sag .
