This article aims to investigate the possible role of CD23 molecules on the surface of B-cell membranes and the changes that are mediated by the second messenger substance. To CD23 molecules of the natural ligand IgE and anti-CD23 monoclonal antibody as a cross-linking agent, observed after cross-linking CD23 molecules on the surface of B cell membrane, the impact on B cell proliferation, as well as cross-linked intracellular some of the second messenger substance Change. The results showed that: (1) anti-CD23 monoclonal antibody and IgE immune complex (IgEIC) on the proliferation of activated B cells, depending on its concentration, showing the promotion and inhibition of two-way regulatory effect. This bidirectional effect relies on the presence of lymphokine IL-4, which up-regulates CD23 expression; (2) IgE monovalently bound to the CD23 molecule has no effect on the proliferation of activated B cells; (3) Anti-IgE IC could induce the increase of cAMP level in activated B cells, but had no significant effect on intracellular cGMP levels. (4) Anti-CD23 mAb could induce rapid cytosolic Ca 2+ concentration in activated B cells Short-term rise.
