十二寒水石 [概说] 寒水石《本经》称为凝水石,载于中品。日本正仑院所藏唐代之寒水石,经研究证明系方解石,为碳酸钙。近代所用寒水石为红石膏与方解石两种,前者多用于北方。两者功效与石膏略同。《本经》云:“凝水石味辛寒,主身热,腹中积聚邪气,皮中如火烧、烦满。”《别录》云:“除时气热盛,五脏伏热,胃中热,烦满,止渴,水肿,小腹痹。” [运用] 经方中仅风引汤一方用寒水石,取其协助石膏清胃热以除生风之源,兼能重镇熄风。
