Objective: To explore and analyze the clinical value of phased care management in the prevention of nosocomial infections after hepatobiliary surgery. Methods: A total of 68 patients with hepatobiliary diseases who underwent surgery in our hospital from September 2015 to May 2017 were selected as study subjects. Patients were divided into groups A and B according to the sequence of admission, 34 cases in each group. All patients were given routine care, while patients in group A plus stage care management, evaluation of care satisfaction of patients in group A and B as well as the occurrence of nosocomial infections. Results: The incidence of nosocomial infection in group A was less than that in group B, the difference was statistically significant (χ ~ 2 = 5.100, P = 0.024). The total satisfaction degree of patients in group B was less than that in group A, the difference was statistically significant (χ ~ 2 = 6.275, P = 0.012). Conclusion: In patients with hepatobiliary surgery, staged care management can improve nursing satisfaction and reduce the risk of nosocomial infections.
