SWOT 最早见诸于设计学派的代表人物塞兹尼克与钱德勒的战略管理学说。SWOT 是优势、劣势、机会、威胁的统称。输入并筛选纷繁复杂的信息,其后进行组合与决策,是战略管理的一般程序。由于 SWOT 具有清晰、简明、具体的特性,可以减少时间和精力的浪费而深得企业界的喜爱,成为竞争与经营战略决策中常用的工具。SWOT 不仅可以为内部和外部竞争环境的分析提供方法论,而且可以为企业提供四种可供选择的战略:1 SO 战略,利用企业内部长处去抓住外部的机会。例如微波炉大王格兰仕
