Liu Bowen’s “Yu ion” is a distinctive essay in the Ming Dynasty literature, but also a peak in the history of Chinese fables. Many excellent chapters in the works have been recorded in the current collection of allegorical allegories. However, the “Yu ion” as a general episode has remained scarcely known until more and more scholars paid attention to it in the 1980s and 1990s. This article attempts to analyze the allegory in the works on the basis of the previous studies and the author’s life and his own ideological system to explore the satirical exposure of the text and the ingenious use of metaphorical techniques, Immortal value.
