I. Preface The Loushanguan Group and the Late Cambrian SanYouDong Group and their equivalent strata in the middle and late Cambrian are widely distributed in Southwest China. Because of the small number of fossils found, their division and comparison have not been solved for a long time. The nature of the biota even more unknown. In recent years, fossils such as trilobites, cephalopods, algae and so on have been found successively in late Cambrian strata in eastern Sichuan, southeastern Sichuan, southwestern Hubei, and northeast Guizhou. Although the species is small, it is of great significance and plays an important role in the resolution and comparison of Late Cambrian strata in the southwestern region. These fossiliferous Late Cambrian strata, which are mainly distributed in the margin of the Yangtze area, are obviously related to the depositional environment at that time.
