According to the relevant survey, US drama is currently one of the most popular form of entertainment for college students. The author proposes to integrate the American drama into the college English classroom teaching of art students and adopt the task-driven teaching method based on the American drama to effectively increase the interest and efficiency of art students in learning English. The article focuses on the feasibility of using American TV in the English classroom teaching at Art SZU and teachers’ important role in task preparation, design and implementation.
