近日,记者在上海漕河泾新兴技术开发区采访了麦考林国际邮购公司董事长兼总裁、美籍华人崔仁辅先生。崔先生在亚洲多国从事零售业18年,是零售和直销行业的资深人士。1996年1月,崔先生在沪建立了中国第一个大型外资邮购公司“麦考林”。现在,“麦考林”注册邮购客户超过250万人,1999年营业额超过6000万人民币。邮购业务处理已实现电脑化。今年4月底,“麦考林”正式开通“麦网”,截止8月中旬,网上注册客户19万5千人(23%为原来的邮购客户),有效订单21389份,有效订单金额1400万元。崔先生认为,这一步是传统邮购业向Bto C电子商务延伸的开始,也是行业自身成长的自然过渡。
