陇东董志塬、早胜塬、合水塬等黑垆土分布地区,年降水量450—550毫米,60%以上的降水集中在夏秋季节。早春干旱,不但影响春播,而且也严重地威胁着夏收作物的生长。目前一部分黑垆土地区虽已具有灌溉条件,但整个黑垆土地区水源并不充足。所以对黑垆土水分性质进行研究,可以为保墒、抗旱、改进土壤保蓄性能及合理灌溉提供依据。因此,我们对黑垆土的水分性质与抗旱性能进行了定位取样分析和初步研究,现将结果整理于后:
