The collision of traditional culture and modern civilization can be seen in today’s world. However, our response in this area, from theory to practice, is often vague or simplistic. The various incidents that occurred in Lugu Lake community and Mosuo people as described in Lugu Lake today: High-pitched and Lost are some typical examples. To this end, this magazine specially invited Yunnan Academy of Social Sciences researcher Yang Fuquan, Zheng Hai two experts around the modern background of the traditional culture of Mosuo this topic, the use of dialogue to start the discussion. Both experts have their own characteristics. Yang Fuquan has long focused on the study of cultural anthropology and has many years of experience in participating in research abroad. Zheng Hai has been doing research on culture and tourism.
