《舌尖上的中国》字幕翻译属于影视作品翻译,与常见的文学翻译、科技翻译和事务性函电翻译等有所不同。然而,从翻译手法的运用来讲,翻译理论中的一些处理策略的使用,可以给字幕翻译增添艺术性和感染力。本集《我们的田野》在汉译英的字幕翻译中,也时时处处体现着翻译的技巧和亮点。本文将从翻译技巧角度对该集纪录片的字幕英译进行赏析,浅谈美食翻译中体现的特色及字幕转译时应注意的事项。
The subtitle translation of “China on Tongue” belongs to the translation of film and television works, which is different from the common translation of literary works, translation of science and technology, and translation of affairs correspondence. However, in terms of the use of translation techniques, the use of some processing strategies in translation theory can add artistic and appealing power to subtitle translation. This book “our field” in the translation of Chinese to English subtitles, but also from time to time embodies the skills and highlights of translation. This essay will give an appreciation of the subtitle translating of the documentary from the perspective of translation skills, discussing the characteristics reflected in the translating of cuisine and the matters to be noticed when translating subtitles.
