68海里,是福建平潭到台湾新竹的直线距离,成为大陆到台湾本岛最近的地方。1996年台海关系紧张时,中国人民解放军三军联合军事演习在平潭进行。而今后,在国务院已经批准的《海峡西岸经济区发展规划》中,这里将成为创新两岸合作模式的“先行先试”地区。
68 nautical miles, is the straight-line distance from Pingtan, Taiwan to Hsinchu, Taiwan, becoming the nearest mainland to Taiwan’s island. When the tension in the Taiwan Strait was tense in 1996, the joint military exercises of the Armed Forces of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army took place in Pingtan. In the future, under the plan for the development of the economic zone on the west side of the Taiwan Strait approved by the State Council, this will be the “pilot-first-aid” region for innovation in cross-Strait cooperation.
