纽约时间2015年9月2日和3日,在舞台艺术的世界顶级殿堂——纽约林肯艺术中心,中国京剧绽放出了最美丽的花朵:由程派名角张火丁教授领衔主演的京剧经典大戏《白蛇传》和《锁麟囊》在美国的首演获得了空前的成功;9月7日,《锁麟囊》在加拿大多伦多演出同样获得了轰动效应。以三场演出为核心,本次出演活动的主办方中国戏曲学院与中国对外文化集团还在中外各界的通力配合下开展了一系列以传播京剧文化为主题的活动,在北美掀起了一场京剧的热潮,加深了美国当地观众对京剧艺术的了解。
