Objective: To investigate the effect of safflower injection on the injury of osteosynthesis in rabbits, and provide a theoretical basis for its application in traumatic surgery. Methods: Twenty adult New Zealand white rabbits were randomly divided into three groups: the model group injected with safflower injection and the model group injected with saline group, 10 rats in each group. The changes of creatine phosphokinase, lactate dehydrogenase, aspartate aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase, Malondialdehyde (MDA) and superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity. The histological changes of calf anterior tibial muscles were observed 14 days after loosening. The protective effect of rabbits in two groups were compared. Results: There was no significant difference in the early stage between the safflower injection group and the saline group after loosening. The diameter of the safflower injection group after 96 hours was significantly reduced, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant. 14d after the material was stained found that safflower injection HE staining observed tibialis anterior muscle cross-section better than the saline group. The activities of creatine phosphokinase, lactate dehydrogenase and aspartate aminotransferase were significantly increased before and after release, and peaked at 24h after the operation, which were significantly different from those before the experiment. Malondialdehyde concentration in the release of 12h after the start of the two groups was statistically significant difference. Conclusion: Safflower injection can reduce the degeneration of the calf muscle due to excessive pressure and reduce the local excessive redox reaction, which can effectively reduce the injury of the intervertebral fascial compartment syndrome in rabbits.
