单模光纤模场半径测量有各种方法,但是,关于这些方法的测量推度一直未见报导过。本文对用近场图法测量模场半径的问题以及提对测量精度问题作了研究。采用近场图法,研究了最重要的红外光导摄像管的光接收特性,研究结果搞清了红外光导摄像管光接收灵敏度的非线性以及管面灵敏度分布的不均匀性。进一步研究了引起测量误差的主要原因,并对测量误差作了定量分析,求出了能使模场半径测量误差最小的最佳测量条件,给出了在这条件下几种光纤的测量结果达到了能以0.1μm以内的重复性测量模场半径。
There are various ways of measuring mode field radius of single mode fiber, however, the measurement of these methods has never been reported. In this paper, the problem of measuring the radius of mode field by near-field map method and the problem of measuring accuracy are studied. The near-field image method is used to study the light-receiving characteristics of the most important infrared light-guide tubes. The research results show the nonlinearity of the light-receiving sensitivity and the inhomogeneity of the sensitivity of the tube surface. The main causes of the measurement errors are further studied. The measurement errors are quantitatively analyzed. The optimal measurement conditions are obtained to minimize the measurement error of the mode field. The measurement results of several optical fibers are obtained under these conditions It is possible to measure the mode field radius with a repeatability within 0.1 μm.
