“门坎效应”是指一个人一旦接受了他人的微不足道的要求,为了避免认知上的不协调,或想给人以前后一致的印象,就有可能接受更大的要求。运用这个方法使人接受要求,便叫登门坎技术。这个效应来自于美国心理学家做的“无压力的屈从:登门坎技术”的实验。实验人员到居民区劝人们在房门前竖一块写有“小心驾驶”的大标语牌。在第一个居民区直接向居民提出要求,结果遭到多数人的拒绝,接受者为17%;在第二个居民区,先请居民在一份赞成安全行使的志愿书
“Threshold effect” means that once a person has accepted the trivial request of others, it is possible to accept even greater demands in order to avoid cognitive uncoordination or to give a consistent impression.
