设计活动是民族性和世界性的统一。当今世界正在向统一性的方向发展,而每个国家,每个民族有自己独特的文化背景。中国传统文化博大精深,是世界文化的瑰宝。传统民族文化里有太多值得我们传承和创新的地方,它代表了中华民族的智慧和创造力。在这个世界性的趋势下我们该如何保证自己的民族文化与现代设计并肩而行,这值得每一个中国学者思考。保持自己鲜明的民族特色和民族独立性,提升民族品牌的文化品格可以说是一个民族继续发展的动力,也是这个民族立足世界之林的保障。
Design activities are national and global unity. The world today is moving toward unity. Each nation and every nation has its own unique cultural background. The extensive and profound Chinese traditional culture is a treasure of world culture. There are so many places in the traditional national culture that we can inherit and innovate. It represents the wisdom and creativity of the Chinese nation. Under this global trend, how can we ensure that our national culture and modern design go hand in hand, which deserves every Chinese scholars’ thinking. Maintaining its distinctive national characteristics and national independence and enhancing the cultural qualities of the national brand can be said to be the driving force for the continued development of the nation and the guarantee for this nation to stand on the foot of the world.
