According to the Nikkan Jidosha Shimbun, June 18, 1985, an artificial cell resembling white blood cells and red blood cells has been successfully developed by Professor Tian Fu of Kyoto University. This artificial cell is synthesized with surfactants and a catalyst that has the breathing function of transporting oxygen, nourishing and producing energy with oxygen and nutrients. Inside the body, the red blood cells remove oxygen from the lungs and transport them to various parts of the body, which then absorbs oxygen through the muscle cells to release carbon dioxide and energy. Artificially simulating this function requires inhalation at a specific location on the cell membrane
