Clear cell meningioma (CCM) is a recently described histologic subtype of meningioma. It has an aggressive clinical behavior, and is prone to local recurrence and distant metastasis. The most common locations of the tumor are the spinal canal and the cranial posterior fossa. We present a case of typical clear cell meningioma in the cauda equina detected by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and microscopy.
