Objective: To explore the clinical efficacy of minimally invasive surgery in the treatment of adrenal tumors. Methods: The clinical data of 68 patients with adrenal neoplasms who were treated in our hospital from June 2008 to March 2011 were retrospectively analyzed. They were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 34 cases in each group. The open group was used for the control group and laparoscopic surgery was used for the observation group. The operative time, blood loss, drainage tube placement, and hospital stay were compared between the two groups. Results: Compared with the control group, the operative time, blood loss, and length of stay in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group. The drainage tube placement after the operation was significantly better than the control group. Conclusions: Retroperitoneoscopic laparoscopic surgery for the treatment of adrenal neoplasms requires short operative time, less blood loss, postoperative drainage tube placement, and short hospital stay, which is worthy of widespread clinical use.
