粒度分析是沉积环境分析的重要手段,其中样品预处理及粒度分析实验方法的选择是粒度分析资料整理成功的关键因素。粒度分析资料的常规整理是沉积环境分析的基础,而粒度分析的多元统计法整理是计算机时代沉积环境分析的必然。太平山北坡东地点为周口店近年来新发现的最为完整的早更新世晚期洞穴堆积剖面,对该剖面沉积物的粒度特征进行因子分析,不仅探讨了该区第四纪早期沉积环境,而且为沉积环境分析由定性走向定量提供一个良好实例。
Particle size analysis is an important means of sedimentary environment analysis. The selection of experimental methods for sample pretreatment and particle size analysis is the key factor for the success of particle size analysis. The conventional collation of granularity analysis data is the basis of sedimentary environment analysis, while the multivariate statistical method of granularity analysis is inevitable for the analysis of sedimentary environment in computer age. The east part of the north slope of Taipingshan is the most complete sedimentary section of the late Pleistocene newly discovered in Zhoukoudian in recent years. The factor analysis of the grain size of the sediments in this section not only explored the sedimentary environment in the early Quaternary, but also Depositional environment analysis provides a good example of qualitative analysis.
