Jacob’s Room, Lady Dalloway, To the Lighthouse and Waves are the epitome of Virginia Woolf’s novel of stream-of-consciousness novels. In order to truly depict the activities of people at different levels of heart, Virginia Woolf uses the psychoanalysis and inner monologue creation method. As a non-traditional means of expression, they have undergone a dynamic process of development in the above four texts: the initial analysis of inner psychology gradually transforms into an increasingly mature inner monologue, while the indirect inner monologue completely takes the dominant position. In the meantime, Virginia Woolf, with memories, free associations, and the appearance of symbolic symbols, serves as the primary adjunct to the text. Through these creative approaches, Virginia Woolf narrates the inner world of text characters and outlines the full range of changes in consciousness.
