民间舞蹈——凤鸡舞又叫“耍鸡舞”,其前身为凤舞、雄鸡舞,起源于明朝,清朝中期传入香山县(包括中山和澳门),经历数朝历代的历史变迁,凤鸡舞文化濒临失传.香洲区荣泰小学在传承本土非遗文化的过程中,在惠课堂、健体魄、育乡情、启智慧这几个重要的教育层面发挥了长技能、塑精神的具体作用.
