列宁重型电机制造厂、基洛夫电力公司电机制造生产联合体列宁格勒电机厂、里加电机制造厂生产联合体采用的泥芯砂,水玻璃含量占8%。这种泥芯砂在落砂时溃散性很差。改善的有效方法是在水玻璃砂的配制中加入一种添加剂,其机理是在混合砂中形成含水玻璃的多种成份的难熔化合物,这种化合物只有在比落砂工作曲线中第二峰值高得多的温度下才能熔化。无添加剂和有添加剂水玻璃砂的落砂所耗能量分别为130~140焦耳和35~40焦耳。由含添加剂的水玻璃砂制成的泥芯在到达规定的温度前即被烧透,但在这温度时水玻璃不会被熔
The core sand used by Lenin’s heavy-duty motor manufacturing plant, the motor manufacturing and manufacturing complex of Kirov Power Company, the Leningrad Motor Plant, and the Riga Motor Manufacturing Plant, has a water glass content of 8%. This core sand has poor collapsibility when falling sand. An effective method for improvement is to add an additive to the formulation of water glass sand. The mechanism is to form a multi-component refractory compound of water-containing glass in the mixed sand. This compound only has the second peak in the specific sand falling operation curve. It melts at much higher temperatures. The energy consumed by the falling sand without additive and with additive water glass sand is 130-140 Joules and 35-40 Joules, respectively. The core made of water glass sand with additives is burned out before reaching the specified temperature, but at this temperature the water glass will not be melted.
