(Men who have sex with men,MSM)艾滋病病毒(Human immunodeficiency virus,HIV)感染率较高,对该地区MSM的艾滋病(Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome,AIDS)相关知识及行为进行调查,为制定该人群艾滋病防治策略及行为干预措施提供较为切实的依据和参考。
Objectives: The prevalence of HIV in men who have sex with men (MSM) in western China is high, and their knowledge and behaviors related to Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) Conduct investigation to provide more practical basis and reference for formulating AIDS prevention and control strategies and behavioral interventions for this population. METHODS: The study was designed as a cross-sectional survey. A questionnaire survey was conducted on 1,407 MSMs in Chongqing, Sichuan and Guangxi provinces in western China from July 2009 to April 2010. Results: The median age of MSM was 26 years old, homosexuals accounted for 69.26% and bisexuals 21.40%. AIDS-related knowledge awareness rate was 88.37%. In the recent 6 months, 61.22% of MSMs have 2 or more same-sex partners, 7.42% of same-sex businesses, and 12.48% of heterosexuals. In the past 6 months, male and female anal sex every time adhere to the use of condoms accounted for 46.40%. There was a difference in the use of condoms during the last 6 months when they had sexual intercourse with different subjects (P <0.05). Different regions, whether or not with multiple partners and whether same-sex business practices are associated with the use of condoms. CONCLUSIONS: High-risk behaviors of HIV infection among MSM populations in western China are common and their high level of HIV / AIDS knowledge is severely separated, posing a challenge to behavioral interventions in this population. Therefore, new interventions to control the spread of AIDS in MSM populations are explored Model is of great significance.
