Philippe Crouchby, who has 39 years of experience as an executive of corporate quality management, worked on the concept of “zero defects” during the work of Martin Marita, acting as vice president of ITT (International Telephone and Telegraph). In his 14 years as president, he was responsible for the quality of 87 divisions worldwide. He is famous for advocating “zero defects” and “doing things right the first time.” The philosophy of “doing things right the first time” is considered to change the way Americans do things. The price is the additional cost incurred for the first time.
