2005年10月12～17日,当世界共同举目关注这一惊人时刻的时候,中国“神六”搭载着《神州颂》长卷遨游太空,带着中国人民的梦想,也带着草原人民的梦想,承载着著名国画家、内蒙古美协主席、中国美协理事周荣生的蒙古族题材的中国画作品《草原放歌》,平稳地降落在内蒙古四子王旗草原上。该作品会同其他中国当代名家作品一同被中国美术馆永久珍藏。这体现了现代高科技与文化艺术的融合,同时也包含了这种意蕴,即在人类悠久的历史长河中,优秀传统文化在不同时期对社会进步起着不可忽视的作用。

This work will be permanently collected by the China Art Museum together with other famous Chinese contemporary works. This reflects the integration of modern high technology and culture and art, but also contains the implication that excellent traditional culture plays an important role in social progress in different periods of time in the long history of mankind.
