超低碳钢由于碳含量非常低,在其连铸过程中要避免钢液增碳,并且制备保护渣时应主要考虑保护渣的润滑及消耗。结合最新关于超低碳钢连铸保护渣的发明专利申请,分析了用于超低碳钢的连铸保护渣的发展现状,通过对超低碳保护渣组分最新现状研究发现,超低碳保护渣主要有含碳保护渣,无碳的彩色保护渣,控制硼含量的保护渣,控制氟含量的渣、无氟无硼渣,并对这些种类的保护渣达到的效果进行了探讨,为今后企业在超低碳钢保护渣选取和应用提供了一定的基础。
