想象力在在语言学习中发挥着至关重要的作用。然而当下某些英语教师片面地追究英语考试成绩,忽视了对学生想象力的培养,最终导致了学生英语学习能力的下降。因此,英语教师必须把培养学生的想象力作为出发点和落脚点,加大培养学生想象力的力度。本文从当下英语教学的实际情况出发,并结合笔者本人多年来的教学经验,从四个方面探讨了如何在英语教学中培养学生的想象力这一问题。 Imagination plays a crucial role in language learning. However, some English teachers presently hold English test scores one-sidedly and ignore the cultivation of students ’imaginations, which ultimately leads to the decline of students’ English learning ability. Therefore, English teachers must take the cultivation of students ’imagination as the starting point and the foothold, and increase the cultivation of students’ imagination. Based on the current situation of English teaching and the author’s own teaching experience over the years, this article explores how to cultivate students’ imagination in English teaching from four aspects.
