中国的设计始于上世纪80年代,那时中国的门户刚刚打开,四面八方‘风’吹来,多少令我们有些措手不及,这一点从发展初期存在严重西化倾向的设计作品中便可知一二。在外来文化的猛烈攻势下,我们似乎一下子迷失了自己的方向,中国的传统文化也似乎一度到了束之高阁的边缘。然而随着时代的进步和我国设计实践的深入,大多数设计师又逐渐认识到了重新审视本土文化的重要性,在这方面也不断有开明的设计师作着大量有益尝试,目的在于找到如何实现传统文化和现代设计的有机融合的途径、方法。事实上,笔者认为,也只有这样,中国的明日设计之路上才能亮起一盏明灯。
The design of China started in the 1980s when the gateway to China was just opened and the blowing of wind in various directions made us somewhat caught off guard. From the design works with a serious Westernization tendency in the early stages of development, we can see one or two. Under the violent offensive of foreign cultures, we seem to have suddenly lost our way. It seems that the traditional Chinese culture once came to the edge of being asylum-free. However, with the progress of the times and the deepening of China’s design practice, most designers have come to realize the importance of re-examining the local culture. In this respect, there are also many useful attempts made by enlightened designers in order to find out how to achieve Traditional culture and modern design of the organic integration of ways and means. In fact, I believe that only in this way can China illuminate the road to tomorrow’s design.
