In 1972, American ecologist Barthes, in his book “Towards Spiritual Ecology,” systematically pondered and explored spiritual and ecological issues from the perspective of mankind itself, associating abstract spirit with ecology. In our country, the earliest one who proposed the concept of “spiritual ecology” is Mr. Lu Shuyuan. He believes that spiritual ecology is a discipline that studies the interrelationship between man and his environment, including the natural, social and cultural environment. It contains two aspects, one, the spiritual body that is human healthy growth; two, ecosystem balance and evolution under the coordination of human spirit. That is to say, the balance and harmony between the spiritual and ecological balance and harmony refers to the common balance and harmony of the subjective people and their living environment, and the ecological harmony of subjective self spirit. The harmony of the spiritual ecology can promote the harmony of the natural ecology and finally realize the harmony of social ecology. Alice Walker undoubtedly realized this, and in her many works expressed his unique spiritual ecology.
