本文调查了湄潭当地英语教师的英语教学素质及教学现状,发现当地教师教学经验丰富,有强烈的自我发展意识,但也存在英语技能不扎实,专业知识不过硬的缺点。由于经济、地理环境限制,教师缺少有用高效的教学资源,在以应试为导向的教学压力下,产生了教学焦虑感,对自己的职业发展认识不清。本文在事实数据的基础上,为当地教师和学校提出对策建议,积极有效地利用可得资源和国家政策,改善英语教学质量。
This paper investigates the English teaching quality and teaching status of native English teachers in Meitan and finds that local teachers are experienced in teaching and have a strong sense of self-development. However, there are disadvantages such as poor English skills and limited professional knowledge. Due to the limitation of economy and geographical environment, teachers lack effective and efficient teaching resources. Under the stress of examination-oriented teaching, teachers have a sense of teaching anxiety and unclear understanding of their career development. Based on the factual data, this paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for local teachers and schools, and makes active and effective use of available resources and national policies to improve the quality of English teaching.
