由于粮食中化学药剂残留问题和害虫抗性的发展,需要发展新的防治储藏物害虫及螨类感染的方法。害虫保幼激素类似物对害虫发育可产生致死性的作用,这些化合物对脊椎动物的急性毒性很小,只是破坏害虫的一些节肢动物的荷尔蒙基础系统。由于这个原因,它有可能作为害虫防治剂,尤其可防治储藏物害虫。十多年前已经开始了这方面的研究,但这些化合物在储藏物中的实际使用却受到一些因素的限制,例如对粮食甲虫不够敏感,一些害虫保幼激素类似物不够稳定。
Due to the problem of chemical residues in food and the development of pest resistance, there is a need to develop new methods of controlling stored insect pests and mite infections. Pest juvenile hormone analogues can have a lethal effect on pest development. These compounds have low acute toxicity to vertebrates and are just the basic hormone-based systems that destroy some arthropods of pests. For this reason, it is likely to be used as a pest control agent, especially for the control of stored pests. Studies in this area have started more than a decade ago, but the practical use of these compounds in storage is limited by factors such as insensitivity to food beetles and instability of some pest juvenile hormone analogues.
