纵观积淀着整个中华民族伟大智慧的五千年光辉灿烂的文明史,“空白”作为文学艺术不可或缺的组成部分有其独特的地位和作用,它是文学艺术的肯綮和机窍,也是我们美学中最独特、最精华的部分。与西方的“空白”概念相比,我们的“空白”的含义则更加丰富。“空白”本身有一个无限广大的内涵,虚、空、无其实是“空白”这个范畴的显性表现形态,它作为古代士人执著的美学追求,贯穿在中国古典文学艺术的始终,在它的整个形成过程中一直伴随着很强的哲学思辨性。
