抗日与解放战争时期,延安版画家一方面继承三十年代新兴木刻运动的传统,另一方面又在《讲话》的指导下进行文艺大众化实践,创作出了一大批在形式与内容上既有“反现代”的传统面目,又有鲜明的现代特征的版画作品。这些作品在当时不仅发挥了动员民众、宣传抗战的作用,还将民主、科学、革命等现代思想传播到了民众中,完成了五四新文学家未能完成、也无法完成的启蒙任务。
During the war of resistance against Japan and the war of liberation, Yanan print artists, on the one hand, inherited the tradition of the emerging woodcut movement of the 1930s and on the other hand, carried out popularization of literature and art under the guidance of “speech” and created a large number of people in both form and content, “Anti-modern” traditional face, there are distinct prints of the modern characteristics of the work. At the time, these works not only played the role of mobilizing the public and propagandizing the war of resistance against Japan, but also spread the modern ideas of democracy, science and revolution to the general public, completing the enlightenment task that the May Fourth new writers failed to complete and could not accomplish.
