近年来，我国从海外引进了多种彩叶植物，相关彩叶植物的栽种可以使园林景观具有更强的视觉冲突表现力，为观赏者提供新鲜的视觉体验感，从而提高园林景观的观赏价值与效应。从现阶段园林设计进程来说，彩叶植物在园林设计中的应用已成为非常重要的元素，其丰富的种类在园林设计中可以呈现出多种景观效果。
