LDH5在舌鳞状细胞癌中的表达及其临床意义

目的:探讨LDH5蛋白在舌鳞状细胞癌组织中的表达特点,及其与临床病理和患者生存预后的关系。方法:应用免疫组织化学染色法检测LDH5蛋白在63例舌癌组织标本和16例正常舌黏膜组织标本中的表达。结合患者临床病理资料和随访资料,应用SPSS17.0软件分析LDH5的表达与相关临床病理参数(Fisher精确概率法)以及患者总生存率之间的关系(KaplanMeier法)。结果:LDH5在部分舌鳞癌组织中呈高表达(33/63,52.38%),与其在正常舌黏膜组织的表达水平相比有显著统计学差异(P<0.01)。LDH5蛋白表达水平与肿瘤大小、颈淋巴结转移、临床分期具有相关性(P<0.05),而与患者的性别、年龄、病理分级、局部浸润等无相关性(P>0.05)。Kaplan-Meier法分析患者总体生存情况结果显示:LDH5高表达组患者的总体生存率明显低于LDH5低表达组患者(P=0.006,Log-rank检验)。结论:LDH5在部分舌鳞状细胞癌组织中呈异常高表达,其表达水平与肿瘤的病理学特征及患者预后具有相关性。 Objective: To investigate the expression of LDH5 protein in tongue squamous cell carcinoma and its relationship with clinical pathology and prognosis of patients. Methods: Immunohistochemical staining was used to detect the expression of LDH5 protein in 63 specimens of tongue cancer tissues and 16 specimens of normal tongue mucosa. Combined with clinical and pathological data and follow-up data, the relationship between LDH5 expression and related clinicopathological parameters (Fisher’s exact test) and overall patient’s survival rate (KaplanMeier method) was analyzed by SPSS17.0 software. Results: LDH5 was highly expressed in some TSCC (33/63, 52.38%), which was significantly different from that in normal tongue mucosa (P <0.01). The expression of LDH5 protein was correlated with tumor size, cervical lymph node metastasis and clinical stage (P <0.05), but not with gender, age, pathological grade and local infiltration. Kaplan-Meier analysis of the overall survival of patients results showed that: the overall survival rate of patients with high expression of LDH5 was significantly lower than the low expression of LDH5 patients (P = 0.006, Log-rank test). Conclusion: LDH5 is highly expressed in some tongue squamous cell carcinomas. The expression level of LDH5 is correlated with the pathological features of the tumor and the prognosis of the patients.
