1945年8月,日本无条件投降时,我在宪兵第十五团六连任排长,在重庆郊区白市驿驻防。连长是黄埔第十六期同学杨忠智。大概在12月末的一天,美国总统特使马歇尔为斡旋国共两党战后和平,乘专机于当日10时前后在白市驿机场着陆。连长杨忠智命我遴选精干宪兵50名,进入机场,负责警卫任务。是日,机场内外警卫森严。军委会委员长待从室二处的保密人员及美军基地的宪兵队均派员参加警卫工作。
In August 1945, when Japan surrendered unconditionally, I was stationed in the sixteenth term of the 15th Regiment of the Gendarmerie in the White City Station in the suburbs of Chongqing.
