常州林业机械厂是林业部定点生产林业集装机械设备的专业化工厂。他们始终坚持自力更生方针,走消化吸收,洋为我用的自我发展道路,加强国内协作,经过四年艰苦努力,全部实现了引进装载机国产化。引进技术“消化吸收”,洋为我用“的实施,不仅促进了企业的技术进步,而且取得了显著的经济效益。1989年,该厂各项经济技术指标在连续几年稳步增长的基础上,工业总产值达9022万元,比上年增长11.2％,销售收入9700万元,比上年增长35.3％,利润达1561万元,比上年增长10％,人均创利1.34万元。创汇200余万美元,均居全国同行之首。”
