1974—1977年应用拟澳洲赤眼峰(Trichogramma Confusum Viggiani)和松毛虫赤眼峰(Trichogramma dendrolimi Matsumuia)进行了防治棉铃虫的研究.1975年在博野县释放拟澳洲赤眼峰防治二代棉铃虫20.1亩,6月中下旬放蜂4—6次,每亩放蜂2.1—4.2万头(放蜂期棉田灌水一次)卵寄生率达60.1—64.7%,6月下旬调查百株残虫量放蜂田8—9头,化防田28—30头.1976年在博野县和望都县释放拟澳洲赤眼蜂防治二代棉铃虫,前者放蜂58亩,放蜂3次,亩放蜂量4.4—5.5万头,卵寄生率72.2—82.1%,7月1日调查,百株残虫量放蜂田7—15头,化防田27—48头.后者放蜂99亩,放蜂3—5
