本文所指的打印,不是通常把电脑或其他电子设备中的文字或图片等可见数据,通过打印机,输出在纸张等记录物上的这种二维平面打印。而是指3D立体打印,这是一种快速成型的技术,这一新型技术是以数字模型文件为基础,运用粉末状金属或塑料等可粘合材料,逐层逐层打印构造物件的技术。3D打印技术,其原理是把一件物品剖成极多的层面,一层一层的把每一薄层打印出来,一层覆盖一层,层层密切结合。它与普通打印机的工作原理基本相同,所不同的是打印机装有液体或粉末等“材料”与电脑连接后,最终把蓝图变为实物。这种技术在一定程度上,替代了现在的模具制造,勿需机械加工,不仅在军工方面,也在雕塑制作等方面显出了它的强大优势。
