Bahasa Indonesia, the Indonesian dialect of Malay Riau, belongs to the Austronesian family and is the official language of Indonesia and belongs to the Malay-Polynesian family. Approximately 42.8 million people worldwide use this language, and 155 million people use Indonesian as their second language. In the field teaching in Maluku, Amban, Indonesia, the author found that there are many pronunciations in Indonesian pronunciation that are similar to Hanyu Pinyin, and the pronunciation similarity can effectively help students to quickly understand the pronunciation in Hanyu Pinyin. The study found that adjusting the order of traditional Chinese phonetic transcription according to the degree of difficulty not only allowed Ambon’s local students to master pronunciation within a short period of time, but also had some positive transfer of Hanyu Pinyin to Indonesian students in their integration with local languages effect.
