Objective To study the correlation between CT features and the expression of VEGF-C, VEGFR-3 and lymphangiogenesis in peripheral lung adenocarcinoma. Methods Forty lung adenocarcinomas confirmed by surgery and pathology were collected. The CT scan and enhanced scan were performed preoperatively. SP immunohistochemical staining was performed on the tumor samples. According to the positive expression counts, the number of positive cells and the lymphatic vessel density (LMVD) , The relationship between some CT signs and the expression of VEGF-C, VEGFR-3 and LMVD in lung adenocarcinoma was analyzed. Results The overexpression of VEGF-C and VEGFR-3 was closely related to lymph node metastasis, and some CT findings were correlated with them. Conclusion The combination of VEGF-C / VEGFR-3 signaling pathway may promote lymphangiogenesis and lymph node metastasis of lung adenocarcinoma. The CT signs such as lymph node enlargement of lung adenocarcinoma are correlated with their expression intensity and lymphangiogenesis, which can predict lung cancer Invasion and metastasis.
