The stability of controller output for HIRFL(Heavy Ion Research Facility in Lanzhou)power supply system is significant. In SSC(Sector Separated Cyclotron)controller system, we use Gateway+MSC1210 to control power supply. Gateway’s main function is to realize two-way transmission between Ethernet signal and the serial port signal. When the signal from Ethernet is sent to the serial port, gateway will call reliable connection-oriented TCP Socket to monitor network and create a connection so as to complete the data reported receiving, then the Ethernet controller protocol conversion module resolves the completed serial data packets from the transport layer data. It will be stored in the data buffer, at the same time, gateway will notify the scheduling module and call serial sending and receiving data module and send the packet to the target node at last. The other way round, when the serial data is sent to the user layer, firstly, gatewaty will store the received data packets in the data buffer by the serial sending and receiving interface module, and then notify the scheduling module, which will call Ethernet controller protocol conversion module and pack the completed serial data as the application layer data. At last, the TCP Socket will be called for the sake of sending the data to the application layer.
