One of the most outstanding advantages of the VSAT network is that it can connect many terminals that are far away from each other to become a network that can be managed uniformly and adapt the performance characteristics of the network to various types of data services on the network. Over the past two decades, satellite communications technology has made tremendous growth in both voice and video applications from a perspective of capacity and geographical distribution, resulting in the emergence of global communications networks and regional communications networks. However, to date, the basic method of data transmission via satellite networks has also been to utilize low-speed voice bands, without giving full play to the advantages of satellite communication systems.
