隋唐初期,原本销声匿迹的“天人感应”说再次兴起。新兴王朝统治的政治需要,佛道思想的传播,术数学与传统数学的交织等原因,共同促成神学迷信现象重新回到人们的视野之中。但由于流行范围的局限性,没有理论基础支持,社会生产力的快速发展及科学技术的不断进步,祥瑞、灾异之说业已失去了生命活力。在柳宗元、刘禹锡等学者发起的中唐“天人关系”讨论中,“天人感应”思想逐渐退出历史舞台。此次“天人感应”说的再起与衰微过程,对隋唐自然科学发展产生了重要影响。中国古代天文学、数学、医药学、潮汐理论以及科学思维进展,均感受到其潜移默化的作用。
In the early Sui and Tang dynasties, “Heavenly Sense” originally disappeared disappeared again. The resurgence and decay of this “Heavenly Sense” theory have had an important impact on the development of the natural sciences in the Sui and Tang dynasties. Ancient Chinese astronomy, mathematics, medicine, tidal theory and the progress of scientific thinking, all feel its subtle role.
