我国古代教育家在很早就有“深其深,浅其浅,益其益,尊其尊”、“中人以上,可以语上也;中人以下,不可以语上也”等主张“因材施教”、“因人而异”的教育思想。学生在参与学校教育活动时不是人人都能整齐划一地发展的,社会环境、家庭氛围等诸多因素使得学生在学习上存在着个体差异。一个班级中的四十几个学生,无论是学习习惯、思维方式,还是兴趣爱好等方面都存在着一定的差异。这些差异具体表现在他们对学习的需求和能力的发展上
